Introduction
Most books written by Stephen Bentley and those written in his pen names of KJ Cornwall and David Le Courageux can be purchased directly from the author.
They include eBooks, print including regular and large print paperbacks plus hardcover editions, and audiobooks.
They are priced keenly and often less expensive than a bricks and mortar or an online bookstore including Amazon. These are the same books as you buy anywhere except for the print books. They are printed and shipped by BookVault in the UK and US. The quality of their print books is superior to those bought through Amazon.
The digital products (eBooks and audiobooks) are delivered electronically via email from Bookfunnel and can be read or listened to on any device or in the cloud with the Bookfunnel app.
By buying direct from the creator (the author) you are supporting indies and not contributing to more profits for a giant faceless corporation. That helps me, the creator, write more books.
The books are excellent quality and I often sell special formats and bundles here, as well as merchandise, that I don’t sell elsewhere, so you can get exclusive deals and better pricing here.
How to Order
- The book listings are displayed on the product page. You will see the title/author name/type of book/price and below that the label ‘View product.’
- Click that label and you will see the cart to enable you to buy any of the books that are listed. The prices will be shown in the currency of your country.
- Choose your quantity and you preferred payment method – credit/debit cards or PayPal are all accepted.
- All payments are 100% secure and your payment details are not stored by us.
Shipping
Digital Products – eBooks and Audiobooks
All digital products are delivered instantly to your email address by Bookfunnel except for preorders. They are delivered on release day.
Once you purchase an eBook, you will get an email from help@bookfunnel.com with a link to download the eBook, or you can send the eBook directly to your favourite device. If the email hasn’t arrived in 10 minutes after purchase, please look for it in your Spam folder.

Print Books
How long does it take for a print book to reach me?
It depends which country you’re in, and which shipping option you choose at checkout. It won’t be ‘next day shipping’ though!
As an independent author working with an independent printer, I can’t go as fast as the big online stores, but the quality of the books is excellent, and you’re supporting a stronger creative eco-system.
Each book is printed individually and sent to you from the independent printer I use in the UK and they also have a partner in the US.
It can take 10-15 working days to reach you outside the UK. Thank you for your patience! It is possible to track your print order.

How long does it take for my book to reach me?
My eBooks and audiobooks are delivered by email within minutes through Bookfunnel. Please check your spam folder if you have not received a link within 10 minutes.
Print books are printed individually to order and shipped through my independent printer, Bookvault, from the UK or from their print partner in the US. It usually takes a few days to print and then 3-5 days to ship in the UK, and 5-14 days in the US and elsewhere. You can track the shipping with the link in your order.
If I buy an eBook, how do I read it or get it onto my device?
Once you purchase an eBook, you will get an email from help@bookfunnel.com with a link to download the eBook, or you can send the eBook directly to your favourite device. If the email hasn’t arrived in 10 minutes after purchase, please look for it in your Spam folder.

Why buy from you if I can buy cheaper and get free shipping from an online retailer?
There is no way I can compete with the big online stores, so you are supporting me as an independent author, and also my independent printer, which is much appreciated!
The books are excellent quality and I often sell special formats and bundles here, as well as merchandise, that I don’t sell elsewhere, so you can get exclusive deals and better pricing here.
I would also add that shipping costs on physical items are completely out of my control. The printer, or the manufacturer, and Shopify control these costs.
How does it help if I buy direct?
If you buy direct, we get paid within hours or days, rather than months — which helps us create more books. Thank you!

While authors love the big stores and you can find our books there too, it’s becoming overcrowded on those sales pages! Our direct stores allow us to feature our products without having other products advertised against them.

Can I exchange an item?
For print books, sorry, no, that is not possible nor economically viable for my small business. For eBooks or audiobooks, please email me at the address above with a full explanation of the reason for your request and we will look into the matter.
